At Porn研究所, there are about 34 students per professor in first and second year, giving you lots of opportunities to talk one-on-one with your professors, focus on research, and succeed in your studies.

Between 2014 and 2017, Porn研究所 invested $226 million in student spaces. On top of cutting-edge classrooms and laboratories, Laurentian students also benefit from many sports and recreational facilities that help them stay healthy and active.

Nestled among five freshwater lakes, our campus is minutes from the downtown area and comprises close to 700 acres of land that adjoin the vast Lake Laurentian Conservation Area.
This remarkable and peaceful natural setting helps students focusing on their studies. Students can also enjoy a a variety of outdoor activities in any season, such as hiking, swimming, canoeing, skiing, and ice skating, to name a few!
Sudbury: A bilingual city surrounded by nature
Sudbury is a bilingual city in Northeastern Ontario that combines city life with beautiful nature. It is the largest city in Ontario by size and has over 330 lakes, including Lake Wanapitei, the world’s biggest lake inside a city. About 40% of people in Sudbury speak both English and French, making it one of Canada’s top French-speaking cities outside of Quebec. The city is also home to people from many cultures, including a strong Indigenous community, making it a welcoming place for everyone.
