2. Where to Apply
International Students In Ontario High Schools
If you are an international student, and you're currently registered in an Ontario high school, you will apply as a "101 Student" using the .
After we receive your application from OUAC, we will email you with your Laurentian student number and further instructions.
Other International Students
You will use the for full-time studies.

3. Deadlines for Application and Document Submission
September Start - Open Enrollment Programs
Application Deadline: April 15th
Document Submission Deadline: May 1st
September Start - Limited Enrollment Programs : Architectural Studies, Nursing, and Sciences infirmières
Applications may remain open after the deadline if not all seats are filled. If that is the case, applications submitted after the deadline will be considered.
Application Deadline: February 1st
Document Submission Deadline: February 15th
January Start - Open Enrollment Programs
Not all open enrollment programs will have a January start date. The application will contain the start dates for each program.

4. Document Requirements and Document Submission Instructions
What is due by the documents deadline?
- All-Academic Transcripts (for students not currently registered in an Ontario high school)
- English language test results (if applicable)
- Supporting documents (as required by the program)*
*The Architectural Studies program has additional document requirements. Please note that it is the responsibility of the applicant to submit all required documents by the deadline.
How to submit documents.
To ensure successful uploading of the supporting documents onto the portal at my.laurentian.ca, the files must be in PDF format. The uploading function is best operated with Google Chrome or Firefox. Each file cannot exceed 10 MB in size. Please note that you do NOT need to mail duplicate copies of uploaded documents to the university.
The university will issue a conditional offer and request the submission of official documents at a later date. Once admitted, we will require official transcripts and language scores from all previous institutions attended to arrive by mail or by email from the sending institution directly to our Office of Admissions at admissions@laurentian.ca or to our official mailing address listed below before the start of the term to which the student has applied.
Please note that we do not accept transcripts submitted by students as being official transcripts.

5. After You Have Applied

You will receive an Acknowledgement email with instructions to access the myLaurentian Portal within two weeks of your application submission.

For international students currently enrolled in an Ontario High School, your guidance counsellor will submit your grades on your behalf. Please remember to submit language scores and supporting documentation as required.

6. Accept Your Offer Of Admission
Congratulations! Welcome to the Laurentian Community. Your decision letter will appear at under the Documents folder for your quick reference. To accept your offer, follow the instructions provided to you on your myLaurentian Portal.
If you have applied using the OUAC website, you will be redirected to accept your offer using the site. If you use another method to apply, you will see the option to accept your offer on the .
To reserve your place in your program, we encourage you to submit the deposit as outlined in your Offer of Admission. .
